Rep. Knollman Named to House Committees for 2007 Legislative Session
(STATEHOUSE) Dec. 4, 2006 - At the end of last week, House legislators elected to appoint committee assignments for the upcoming session of the 2007 General Assembly. Representative Tom Knollman (R-Liberty) was appointed to positions on the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee and the Technology, Research, and Development Committee.
“Living in a rural community well known for its agricultural base, I am extremely pleased to be working on the Agricultural and Rural Development committee,” said Rep. Knollman. “I look forward to working in a cooperative manner over the next biennium voicing the concerns of citizens across parts of Wayne, Franklin, Dearborn, and all of Fayette and Union Counties.”
The Indiana General Assembly meets during the long session this year from January 8 to April 29, 2007. During the long session of the General Assembly, Indiana’s budget is created for the next two year cycle. Other topics discussed during this session will range from increasing economic development, improving opportunities for Hoosier school children, and helping to provide positive change to state government.
